Kelly Maguire

Associate Attorney

“I am committed to supporting families through their most challenging times with compassion and dedication.”

Kelly Maguire found her passion for family law early in her legal career. Initially considering criminal law, Kelly's first role in family law revealed a path that resonated deeply with her. The opportunity to assist families, especially children, during difficult transitions quickly became her primary focus and source of professional fulfillment.

“I practice family law because it allows me to make a real difference in people's lives, particularly for children who are often at the center of these disputes,” Kelly explains. The ability to guide clients through what is often one of the most challenging experiences of their lives and to see them thrive afterward makes her work so rewarding.

While Kelly brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to each case, her approach is simple. She recognizes that every family situation is unique, and she tailors her strategy to meet each client's specific needs. Whether it’s a divorce, custody, or modification case, Kelly aims to minimize chaos and create a smoother process for her clients. She often explores mediation as an initial step, aiming to resolve conflicts amicably and avoid litigation's emotional and financial toll.

Clients frequently remark on Kelly's approachable and relatable nature. She is known for her ability to inject humor into conversations where appropriate, which helps put her clients at ease during stressful times. “Just because I'm an attorney doesn't mean I don't have my own challenges,” Kelly shares. “I’m here to listen and support my clients, not just to provide legal solutions.”

Kelly's ultimate goal is for every client to leave her meetings feeling relieved and trusted. She wants them to know that they have a dedicated advocate who understands the importance of their situation and is fully committed to helping them achieve the best possible outcome.

A native of Massachusetts, Kelly earned her BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY, in 1998. She went on to receive her MA in Criminal Justice from Suffolk University in Boston, MA, in 2000, and later earned her JD from the Massachusetts School of Law in 2014. Kelly has been practicing family law since then. Her work is guided by a strong belief in resolving disputes through understanding and empathy.
